Hey!

   Hi there, howdy, and hello! Welcome to my blog. Yay first post! Do I know what I'll be putting up here? No. Definitely not. It would be ever so convenient if this was some kind of specialty blog that knew what it was, but alas, it is not. I sure hope you stick around through the jumble in spite of it all.

I'm watching the Emmy's so I'm having an incredibly hard time focusing on what I should write here. Expect this to be a recurring theme, folks. Like most humans, I have a helluva time trying to talk about myself, but I suppose I can give it a try? If by some chance you don't already know me, I'm Jen. I'm in my twenties and I live in California. I love Disney, small kittens, Thai food, vintage clothing, French Bulldogs, weddings, swing dancing, flea markets, my boyfriend, decorating, violent video games, beer that doesn't taste like beer, and sleeping (among hundreds to thousands of other things). On the flip side, I really don't care for avocado, cynicism, jeggings, pinky toes, bagpipes, Coldplay, and those commercials with the guy dressed like the Sun. So..now you know me I guess?

Well now! I'm rapidly running out of inspiration so here's my favorite fact about penguins that I could find on Wikipedia:

Penguins can drink salt water because their supraorbital gland filters excess salt from the bloodstream. The salt is excreted in a concentrated fluid from the nasal passages.
